Project implemented with the support of the European Union
POLIAMID PLASTICS Sp. z o.o. has implemented a project entitled:
“Transformation of the operations of Poliamid Plastics Sp. z o.o., enabling an increase in production volume, optimization of energy consumption and the introduction of modified products reducing heat losses in heating networks to the offer.”
The project was implemented under the European Funds for Lower Silesia 2021–2027 programme, Measure 9.4 “Economic Transformation”, with the support of the Just Transition Fund.
Investment in modern production and development of the region
The project is the largest investment program in the company’s history. Its implementation enabled a comprehensive transformation of the company, including the development of production and warehouse infrastructure, the implementation of modern technologies and increasing the energy efficiency of production processes.
The investment is in line with the assumptions of a just economic transformation of the Wałbrzych Subregion, supporting the development of modern industry, creating stable jobs and strengthening the competitiveness of local enterprises.
Aim of the project
The aim of the project was to transform the company’s technology by:
- increasing the company’s production capacity,
- introduction of innovative products reducing heat losses in district heating networks,
- modernization and automation of production processes,
- optimization of energy and raw material consumption,
- improvement of production organization and internal logistics,
- creating conditions for further development of production activities in the region.
Scope of activities carried out
As part of the project:
- a modern production and warehouse hall was built with a social and office part,
- new injection molding machines and equipment supporting the production process were purchased and put into operation,
- a central system for feeding and drying raw material has been implemented,
- a modern cooling system has been installed,
- the plant was equipped with storage racks and system transport trolleys,
Achieved results
The implementation of the project allowed for:
- a significant increase in the company’s production capacity,
- implementation of a new, innovative product to the company’s offer,
- introduction of a process innovation consisting in the integration of all machines with a central system of feeding and drying of raw materials,
- reduction of energy consumption and reduction of material losses,
- improvement of the flow of materials and organization of production,
- increasing the safety and comfort of employees thanks to modern infrastructure and process automation,
- creation of new jobs and development of staff competencies,
- increasing the competitiveness of the company on the domestic and international market,
- strengthening the region’s position as a place for the development of modern manufacturing industry.
Environmental and economic benefits
The project contributes to the development of more energy-efficient and efficient production technologies. The introduced solutions allow for rational management of energy and raw materials, reduction of production losses and support for sustainable development.
Thanks to the implementation of new products reducing heat losses in district heating networks, the investment also supports the improvement of the energy efficiency of heating infrastructure, responding to modern challenges related to energy transition and environmental protection.
Importance for the region
The implementation of the project strengthens the economic potential of Kłodzko and the entire Wałbrzych Subregion. The investment increases the attractiveness of the region for modern industrial ventures, creates new jobs and supports the development of the local supply chain and cooperation with business partners.
Thanks to the support of the European Funds, it was possible to create a modern production plant, which will be an important element of the economic development of the region in the coming years.
