The PC03 series hook recessed covers are designed to protect the ends of pipes during storage, transport and handling. Their design includes special hook slots that make it easier to lift, move and load steel pipes, for example onto a ship.
The term “hook” does not refer to how the cover is attached to the pipe. Transport hooks are placed in prepared areas in the lid, which allows for more efficient and safer handling of heavy pipes.
The covers are mounted inside the end of the pipe and protect the inside of the pipe from dirt, moisture and damage caused during transport and storage. The black color provides an aesthetically pleasing, uniform look.
